Mr. Bradbury is still going strong

Mr. Ray Bradbury, who is one my all-time favorite authors, turned 86 on August 22nd! That old geezer is still churning out new ideas. He has hopes for new screenplays for his two classics, The Martian Chronicles & Farenheit 451.

This is exciting news, but these films won't even make it out of development for another year or so. They need to hurry up and make 'em before he passes on. I have a feeling he'll hold on for another 10 years at least. He's very healthy and wily.

I just hope these don't turn out like The Sound of Thunder with cheap f/x and shite. It was a great story just dumbed down with bad f/x and acting (akin to SCI channel level quality).
