Stargate SG-1 is ending, cancelled, whatever the fuck SCI-FI wants to call it these days. Most people don't give a fuck I 'm sure. But I actually like this show. And just after I was so elated that new eps were added to iTunes!
Luckily, the better of the two will go on. Stargate Atlantis is renewed for a 4th season. I'm sure doing 2 shows simply cost too much for SCI FI. Plus, that craze for Battlestar Galactica is stronger than the buzz for SG-1. I still don't understand the galactica nonsense.
But you know what? This is what Stargate gets for forcing SCI FI to cancel Farscape. Right when they had two expensive shows (SG1 and Farscape), after one season supporting both, one had to go. So they up and axed Farscape since it was shot in Australia and was nearing one million an episode. Thanks, Stargate and Sci Fi for that kick in the stomach 3 years ago. Karma's a bitch.
Anyway, SG-1 will still be going strong into 2007. The half season finale is in September with it finishing up in Spring 2007.
