Volver

I've loved spanish cinema and especially Pedro Almodovar since freshmen year of college! With yet another reason I love Pajiba, they did a comprehensive article on all of Almodovar's films.

And he is just as excited as me about Volver, which sadly doesn't come out til November. This film has been playing in Europe for months! Damn distribution rights. It stars Carmen Maura (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Dark Habits and more) and Penelope Cruz. Cruz is alright when she speaks spanish. I'll give her a pass when she works with Almodovar.
