Pregnancy must be contagious!

Lily Allen has been infected by the new fad of pregnancy!

http://www.exclaim.ca/images/click_lily_allen.jpg

I had no idea that she's was dating Ed Simons of Chemical Brothers. But hey, they sound happy, so whatever. This doesn't make me as sad like Jamie Lynn Spears, who at the tender age of 16 will be modeling maternity wear as well.

But seriously, what the hell is with all the celebrities getting knocked up (Nicole Richie, Bridget Moynahan, Jessica Alba, Katie Holmes)? Why oh why do you want to give your selfish lives up so early? Don't you know what happens when you try to party and be a mom (see example: Britney Spears)? You look like a selfish skank or at the very least your career goes downhill a bit.

Plus, you get fat!!

If I had the funds to do what I wanted, the first thing on my list would definitely NOT be getting preggers. Call me crazy, but aren't children an expensive committment? Like, you want to give your whole life over to them? I want to be able to use my time to make some of my dreams and goals come to fruition before having a new little person's. There might (probably won't though) be a time when I'd be ready. But I would never throw caution to the wind (or is it to love?) and allow myself to have a child before I'm ready.

Under their "Grip"

You know who's so fucking rad? The Go! Team that's who!

Sunday's show at the Echoplex was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect: full of high energy, dancing, and good sound quality. They played all the hits and then some.

And boy could Ninja move her feet. Sadly, cause I'm a shorty, I couldn't take in all of her fancy footwork. Nevertheless, she had the crowd in the palm of her hands. So much so, I wanted to shout out: "Damn girl, don't hurt 'em". She asked the crowd for a favor: to get up and dance. And the entire Echoplex humbly obliged.

I always appreciated their tunes, but now I love them. One of the best shows of the fall! Now I understand the look of shock my friend Brian gave me when I said I missed the Go! Team at Coachella 2006. Don't make the same mistake, see them as many times as you possibly can. You won't regret it.

Melodramatic much?

I cannot believe this quote from Gillian Anderson over on Page Six!

"My God, I don't even watch television. I don't like television. I never have liked it. The whole concept of sitting down in front of a TV feels like one of the things that's destroying society, as far as I'm concerned."

Um, maybe just say you don't like it. No need to judge others so harshly. There are plenty of other things destroying society (George W. Bush, gas industry, war, hate, violence...). I know this may be a totally ficticious quote, but why would Page Six lie to us? Guess there's no "X-files" reunion in the future for her.

Are you trying to ruin my 80s memories?

Brian Bonsall, the cute child star of "Family Ties", was arrested this weekend for domestic violence (*scoffs) charges! He allegedly poured an alcoholic drink on his girlfriend while she was asleep. No big deal, people fight, right? It gets worse. He then, supposedly remember, held her in a chokehold and wouldn't let her leave the apartment. And oh yeah, all this happened at 7am.

Maybe the bitch is cranky in the morning. Hell, I would be if you poured a drink on me. But did we get his side? Not yet. Maybe she was cheating on him. Plus, he never actually beat the girl. Can't we downgrade this as a misdemeanor? I would.

Seacrest got played

It's 11am and I've been at work at my retail job for 4 hours. Oh yeah, it's a sunday. And the Muzak player has played almost every single John Mayer song I can think of. At this point, I feel like if I saw the man, I would throw a bunch of toss pillows at him. He's like the embodiment of all the reasons I hate working in retail (even if it's only 15 hours a week now).

But this little video right here, it makes all that melt away. I seriously love anyone who gives Ryan Seacrest such a hard time in such an eloquent way. John Mayer sucks alot of the time. But yesterday, he was a king. Playa got played! So yes, stereogum, Seacrest did get served.

Now that I've been nice, can I say something about his GF? Her hair looks awful. Can somebody get her a better colorist please? I hear Jonathan's in Weho has some good ones by my house.

Word Rehab?

Is this shit for real with Isaiah? Yes, the man may need some rigorous etiquette practice, but going to rehab for some psyche evaluation is bullshit. What can they really do? Tell you not to say it. And I'm pretty sure he has finally learned that lesson. I mean it's ridiculous. How are they really going to "analyze" why he needs to say the f-word. He must be saying it because he obviously hasn't been hanging around any gay people. I'm guessing it's just not his scene. If I had a nickel for everytime somebody said something offensive, I'd be rich.

I'm not saying his behavoir is okay, but he's not disturbed mentally because he let one slip out. Plus, he wasn't calling anyone the name. He just repeated a rumor and denied it's truth (in a horribly crude manner and on national tv). But was it something to cover your ears and rock back and forth about? Absolutely not. I wonder if any gay people (besides Perez Hilton, who btw uses that word everyday) actually care.

Are we going cry foul anytime somebody says something stupid on air? Vanessa Minillo said "shit" on air, does she have to go to rehab? I don't see anybody telling Michael Richards to go to rehab for the n-word. I mean, he should def go for like some serious drug addiction tho.

Basically, Isaiah should go into hiding for awhile. Just do the day to day shit and let it settle. No public apologies or psyche evals are gonna erase what happened. You gotta give the incident some time to be forgotten. But with the popularity of "Grey's Anatomy", I'm not sure if he's gonna be out the woods anytime soon.

Still Crazy

http://www.avclub.com/content/files/images/men-in-trees-anne-heche.jpg
I know I'm behind, but it seems that Anne Heche is still a crazy whore. Granted, she didn't do anything out of the ordinary. There are plenty of actresses who dump thier loser husbands for their co-stars (i.e. that guy on "Men in Trees"). And who the hell watches that show? I guess people like my mom. But she also watches "Walker, Texas Ranger" & "Nash Bridges"!

Nevertheless, the whole thing continues to have that Anne Heche crazy tinge. Crazy is as crazy does. And this girl's not finished yet. Her husband, Coley Lafoon, wasn't that bad looking. I suppose this new guy is more rugged, which helps if you're trying to leave behind a life of lesbianism.

What I don't get is how either of these guys want to be with her bony ass. I mean that is such a commonplace fact that it had to be written into the script for Six Days, Seven Nights! I still don't forgive Harrison for that one. Terrible miscasting. And yet, the woman who said she has a spiritual alter-ego, named Celestia who is Jesus's sister or some shit, still gets work and some hot ass.

What the hell is going on in hollywood? I blame Scientologists, since it's so easy.
